Ever been to Everland? YEAH, YEAH!!!

It is my belief that excitement and fun cannot be expressed in words. Our last visit to Samsung¡¯s Everland gave all of us a lot of joy and excitement. I am writing this trip report only to give a slight idea of the fun and excitement, Everland offers to its visitors. International Service Center (ISC) of Kyung Hee Univeristy organized this trip. ISC often arrange these sorts of activities to foster the culture values to international students.

It all started when we received an email from International Service Center of Kyung Hee University inviting all foreign students for a field trip to Everland. We all decided to avail this opportunity of cultural experience and fun. On December 3rd 2005 we started at 9:25AM from Kyunghee University. We were about 55 foreign students including a Professor and our dearest anchor Mr. Jongkoo Jo. Our bus reached there in 30 minutes. We alighted from the bus and divided into groups; we all Pakistani students formed a group and headed towards the main entrance.

There are five main theme areas in the Everland; Global Fair, Magic Land, American Adventure, European Adventures and Equatorial Adventure, and each one is packed with fun things to do and see. We didn't manage to view everything on our whirlwind tour, but some of the bigger attractions were worth looking. Everland really is a wonderful world filled with fun, fantasy and excitement -- if you get the chance, go and see it. You'll love it -- we did! And we still have fine memories of our visit.

We started our experience from American Adventure. First, we took Rolling X- Train its an exciting mega-fast roller coaster whipping around a spiral course with 2 complete 360 degree revolutions. It was a breath taking experience to tell you the truth it does turn you upside down and your stomach inside out. We were amazed and not fully recovered from the astound, some of us quickly moved to Double Rock Spin, it is an exhilarating thrill caused by ruthless spinning and powerful rhythm, we all agreed that this is the best thrill. The spinning effect can be felt rather long for some poor soul (Guess whom?) but for some others. Crunch! Ah, we've stopped -- I want another go -- this has got to be the most thrilling experience ever! (Guess whom?). Luckily, it was not a very crowded day in Everland and we did not wait for very long to avail the ride on Crazy Limo, Suspended Coaster and Championship Rodeo.

After this we went to Equatorial Adventure, we started our journey here with Safari World, next went to Petting Zoo and soon discovered that we have lost the major thrill and excitement of our age and this place. It was a good place for kids but not for all of us.

We headed to Magic Land, and started with Flume Ride- a mad rafting adventure filled with thrills.  The funniest part is the shower you received just before ending your journey on the raft. Next, went to Bumper Car. After experiencing car bumping we went to global village. It¡¯s a cultural world tour with dolls in folk clothes. All those fast and furious rides and the walking in between them certainly works up an appetite. By that time we all were feeling hungry and want to have our lunch. We went to Burger Café- America and had our lunch.

After the lunch, we moved towards European Adventure, started our voyage from Mystery Mansion; it was a fun horror adventure consisting of shooting ghosts with a laser gun. Went to Space Tour, and walked all the way to area of American Adventure. Its almost 4:00 PM we supposed to report back to bus at 4:30 so we decided to get more ride. As soon as we finished our ride we run to reach at the bus for backward journey, this was a slightly depressing sight. All the attraction available in Everland cannot be thoroughly seen in a single day, we had spent our day!!! And we were pleased. If you are thinking of going to Everland and you haven't been before, you should definitely go as it is well worth it!!!

We reached back at 5:10 PM, it was a day well spent and we all shall cherish the memories of that beautiful day in our minds. We would rank Everland in Entertainment 9 out of 10, facilities 9 out of 10, value for money 9 out of 10 and for recommendation 10 out of 10.
