culture teaching institute which has some
of the best instructors and newest facilities

These students have come to study
in Korea on an invitational scholarship
offered by our government since 1996. Every
year about 1,200 people from over 50 different

IIE helps foreign
students become accustomed to both a different
language and life style. Furthermore,
our "volunteer system" provides
the foreign students with better opportunities
to adjust quickly with the help of 1:1 Korean
volunteers.
The Regular Program
is a 16-week semester program with 15-21
class hours per week. The Korean Language
Education course aims to fulfill international
student interest in the Korean Language
and culture. Therefore, for students who
want to learn Korean Culture, this program
includes the following elective courses:
Korean Movies, Chinese Characters, Korean
Music and Taekwondo.
In addition,
the Department of the Foreign Studies offers
conversation courses, advanced-level English
courses and teacher training courses for
people who want to maintain their competitiveness
