Dear International Students,

The Office of International Affairs has planned a Field Trip to Andong, the city of Korean tradition and soul (http://www.tourandong.com/english/sightseeing/total_sightseeing.htm) on May 17, Saturday. Andong Hahoe Village has preserved the housing architecture and the village structure of the Choson Dynasty. It is also famous for the Byeolsin exorcism, maskdance and Hahoe mask. The Hahoe mask is the oldest mask in Korea and is used in the Hahoe Maskdance. Hahoe Village became famous from the visit of Queen Elizabeth in 1999.

Those who want to join this trip, please visit the Center for International Students and Scholars located on the second floor of the Arts & Design Building (Room #203) and submit the application form (attached file) along with the participation fee of 5,000 won by May 13,  Tuesday. Students’ information of Name, Major or Department, Student ID number, and Nationality must be filled out for application.  Those who do not submit the application form in person will not be accepted (Email application is not available).

-          Rendezvous and Departure: In front of the College of Foreign Languages and Literature

-          Time and Date: 8:00~20:00, May 17 (Saturday)

-      Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

-      Only current students at Kyung Hee University – Global Campus can participate.

The participants will be decided in order of application, and the boarding time and bus number will be informed when you hand in the application form at the Center for International Students and Scholars.

국제교류처에서는 국제학생들에게 문화체험의 기회를 제공하고자 오는 5월 17(토)에 경북 안동 하회마을로 (http://www.tourandong.com/coding/main.asp) 필드 트립을 계획하였습니다. 안동 하회마을은 1999년 영국 엘리자베스 여왕의 방문으로 널리 알려졌으며, 한국의 전통문화를 고스란히 간직하고 있는 전통마을과 하회탈로 유명한 곳입니다. 

참여를 원하는 학생은 5월 13일(화) 오후 5시까지 예술디자인건물 2층에 위치한 외국인 지원센터에 방문하시어 신청서(첨부파일)와 참가비 5,000원을 함께 제출해 주시기 바랍니다.  신청시 이름, 전공, 학번, 국적을 기입해 주시고, 반드시 학생 본인이 직접 신청하시기 바랍니다.  신청서를 직접 제출하지 않을 경우 신청이 되지 않으므로 유의하시기 바랍니다. (이메일 신청불가)

-         일    시: 5월 17일(토) 오전 8시~오후 8시

-         출발장소: 외국어대 맞은편

-         간단한 아침과 점심이 제공됩니다.

-         경희대학교 재학 중인 국제학생만 참가신청이 가능합니다.

신청자가 많을 경우 신청 순서로 참가자를 결정합니다.  버스 번호는 신청서 제출시 알려드릴 예정입니다.
