School of Dances to hold Repertory performance


School of Dances in Kyung Hee University (KHU) will hold a Repertory performance with undergraduate students of different majors at Ko-Hwang theater located in the Neo-Renaissance from May 8th to 11th, everyday at 2 p.m.

Performances are consisted of freshmen for May 8th, juniors for the 9th, sophomores for the 10th and seniors for the 11th. At the performance for freshmen on May 8, which is also Parents¡¯ day, freshmen will perform their college entrance performances in front of their parents who helped them a lot sincerely to make them college students.

Undergraduates from sophomore to senior will have diverse Repertory performances in each major. Students majoring in Korean Folk Traditional Dance will perform Salpullee, Taepyongmu, Bu-chae-chum, students majoring in modern dance will perform Hoppla Wolfgang Kolb, Lush, Minus, and students majoring in ballet will perform Swan Lake, Giselle, La Esmeralda, and Don Quixote.

Dean of the school of dances Kim Mal-lae said, ¡°This is an annual event held in May and up until now it was an event within the school of dances. But we have opened it for the people inside and outside of the school who have shown their interest for the school of dances.¡± She added, ¡°Students in the school of dances will feel greater affiliation through this event and the audience will have a good opportunity to see a spectacular performance for free.¡±
