Orientation for freshmen who will enter our University in this year held under the auspices of each college and general association in the school and another province such as Gyeonggi, Gangwon, Chungcheong etc. from February 8.
The orientation for freshmen is conducted to help them easily adapt to university life and widen relationships between freshmen, seniors and professors. Almost programs of the orientation were prepared as introduction of our University, college, curriculum, amusements and various cultural performances. It is expected to offer freedom and romanticism of university for freshmen who have received typical education with conventional style.
The orientation date and place of each college is followed; College of Humanities, Feb. 8-11, Asan; College of Law, Feb. 9-11, Gapyeong; College of Politics and Economics, Feb. 8-11, Yangyang; College of Business Administration, Feb. 23-25, Yongin; College of Hotel & Tourism Management, Feb. 24-26, Suanbo; College of Science, Feb. 22-24, Mungyeongsaejae; College of Human Ecology, Feb. 23-25, Gapyeong; College of Oriental Medicine, Feb. 24-26, Gapyeong; College of Pharmacy, Feb. 13-15, Gapyeong; College of Nursing Science, Feb. 22-24, Gapyeong; College of Music, Feb. 21-23, Hongcheon; College of Fine Arts, Feb. 20, the building of College of Fine Arts; School of Dance, Feb. 25-26, Yangpyeong. Other colleges is going to prepare the orientation from Feb. 23 to 26; College of Electronics and Information and College of Management and International Relations, Naksan; College of Advanced Technology and College of Environment & Applied Chemistry, Sorak; College of Architecture & Civil Engineering, College of Life Science and College of Foreign Languages & Literature, Naksan; College of Art & Design, Chungpyeong; College of Physical Education, Jecheon.
The beginning always give us fluttering with new hope and fear. However, there is a proverb, 'A good beginning is half the battle.' Freshmen are expected to experience university life and eliminate the fear through the active participation of orientation.
